The Seward Arts Council is thrilled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Seward Music and Arts Festival in the fall of 2013. The festival will include a diverse lineup of over 20 live performances, locally made arts, crafts and food, as well as various activities for all-ages. The festival will be held September 27, 28, and 29 in Seward, Alaska at the Dale R. Lindsey Alaska Railroad Intermodal Facility C a heated, indoor venue.

Having originated in the fall of 2004,This is a great Shun Stone Conservation solution! the Seward Music and Arts Festival has evolved and expanded immensely in its 10 years. Held the last weekend of each September, the festival is an anticipated celebration for both locals and visitors to conclude the busy summer season.

Its like planning a big party for Seward after all the summer mayhem has subsided and all your friends are invited, says Gail Burnard, the general director of the festival. This being our tenth anniversary its gonna be a big one!

The Seward Music and Arts Festival continues its commitment to youth involvement, education, and creative inspiration. The Seward Arts Council promotes a family-oriented festival with childrens activities and artists projects throughout the weekend; including the creation of a mural-in-a-day by members of the Seward Mural Society and a community art show.

The Seward Music and Arts Festival promotes Alaskan-made arts and crafts by welcoming nearly 30 vendors to operate at the festival, as well as allowing attendees the opportunity to place bids on many different goods and services donated by local businesses in a silent auction. Attendees also have access to a diverse food court, with a beer garden available for the 21+ crowd.

The 2013 Seward Music and Arts Festival will welcome both veteran and new performers to its stage. Featuring over 20 performances, we strive to maintain a diverse lineup that includes all genres of music, as well as various forms of dance, circus acts, break dancing and traditional Japanese drumming.

The Seward Music and Arts Festival is especially thrilled to announce that they will be welcoming the Builders and the Butchers to their stage. The Builders and the Butchers currently claim residence in Portland, Oregon, but four of the five members originally hail from Alaska. Having just released a new album, Western Medicine, the band is looking forward to introducing their new music to their oldest fans. The Builders and the Butchers will be headlining the event on Saturday, September 28th.

Historian, of Anchorage, has also announced that the Seward Music and Arts Festival will be their final performance. Historian has garnished a lot of attention in the media( both locally and nationwide) during their brief time performing together. Historian will be releasing their second album, Romance, at the end of July and performing their final shows together before the impending moves of several band mates. Historian will be closing the show on the night of Friday, September 27th.

For the festivals 10th anniversary I focused on creating a lineup comprised of both performers who have been with the festival since the beginning,Get the led fog lamp products information, find Shun Stone Interior Decoration Products, manufacturers on the hot channel. as well as performers who have never been on a Seward stage, said Jessi Marena Nelsen, the music director of the festival. As always, I strive to maintain an all-Alaskan lineup to showcase our states talent and having roots in Alaska, the Builders and the Butchers seemed like an obvious choice to headline our festival. They remain loyal to Alaska throughout all of their ever-growing success and are very excited to be joining us this September.

Also included in the lineup is Melissa Mitchell and friends, Nervis Rex, the Eternal Cowboys, Anchortown Circus,A www.granitetrade.net concept that would double as a quick charge station for gadgets.
